Slippurinn Akureyri Ltd. operates according to the ISO 9001: 2015 certified quality system. The ISO 9001 certification confirms that the company approaches project management in a systematic manner in order to meet customer requirements. Furthermore, the quality management system ensures purposeful practices for the benefit of customers, employees, suppliers, and owners. The quality system also ensures all customers always receive the same quality of products and services and ensures ongoing improvement in our quality, products, and services.

The certification grants Slippurinn international recognition of its administration that brings confidence in foreign markets and will undoubtedly facilitate the acquisition of projects in the field. Companies with such certification also fulfill all the requirements of public sector companies in Iceland.

The certification covers all service and production activities at Slippurinn, such as development, design, and manufacture of processing equipment, project management, metal products, mechanical work, and production equipment under the name of DNG.

The formal BSI verification stating that the quality system meets the ISO 9001: 2015 is the beginning of continuous monitoring procedures to ensure that the company always meets the requirements of the standard. The quality manager at Slippurinn oversees the work, and BSI experts will periodically examine the status.
